In its latest issue (4/19) under the heading “Pitstop”, AutoBild Sportscars reports on the latest summer tyre test. Of the eleven size 245/45 R 18 tyres in the test, the PremiumContact 6 from Continental was awarded the best possible rating: “examplary”. “A balanced peak performer delivering impressive dynamic performance on wet and dry roads, steady and safe handling in the wet and dry, a precision steering response in the wet, and short wet and dry braking distances,” was how the journalists summed up their findings.
The PremiumContact 6 recorded high scores for safety-relevant criteria in particular: In the dry braking, aquaplaning and wet handling tests, for example, it scored good and very good marks as it laid the foundations for the best rating that the magazine awards.
The PremiumContact 6 is a passenger car and SUV summer tyre for compact-class models and above. The range currently includes 120 variants, with approvals for speeds of up to 300 km/h. The PremiumContact has been approved by numerous renowned automakers for fitting ex works.
